Just No.

McCain was such a smug little douchebag. Did he need to start every damn phrase with "What Senator Obama doesn't understand..."?

I don't know if he didn't look at Obama the whole time because he is an ass or because he no longer has vision in that wonky left eye of his.

He kept trying to push that pathetic lie about Obama

He doesn't really seem to know his buddy Kissenger very well as Kissinger actually backs direct talks with Iran

Little old men are premature

You ought to read the little fact check link in yer politics community.

OBAMA: "Sen. McCain mentioned Henry Kissinger, who is one of his advisers, who along with five recent secretaries of state just said we should meet with Iran — guess what? — without preconditions."

MCCAIN: "Dr. Kissinger did not say that he would approve face-to-face meetings between the president of the United States and (Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad. He did not say that. He said there could be secretary-level and lower-level meetings. I've always encouraged that."

THE FACTS: Obama was right that Kissinger called for meetings without preconditions. McCain was right that Kissinger did not call for such meetings to be between the two presidents.

In a foreign policy forum on Sept. 15, Kissinger said: "I am in favor of negotiating with Iran." He went on to say, "I actually have preferred doing it at the secretary of state level" and the U.S. should go into the talks with "a clear understanding of what is it we're trying to prevent. What is it going to do if we can't achieve what we're talking about? But I do not believe that we can make conditions for the opening of negotiations. We ought, however, to be very clear about the content of negotiations and work it out with other countries and with our own government."

I'm glad SOMEBODY finally fucking brought up that G-d damned Bush/Cheney Energy Giveaway that Obama voted for. Glad to see it was McCain, since no Obamatron or semi-rational Obama supporter could EVER dare justify his voting for it whenever I brought it up.

Also re: Kissinger:

Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality."

From the horse's mouth, blah blah.

I watched it, there wasn't a big win for either side. Really, both sides sucked. I thought it would be better.

Now you can bet your sweet ass I'll be watching the VP debate. lol

All this debate did was leave me with more questions than I had before.

I am more clueless about where either candidate stands. They both waffle so much that even if they did provide a conclusive and definitive stance on something, it may be a different answer depending on the time, crowd, weather conditions, testicular moisture, etc

This election is a loss, people need to realize they don't HAVE to take a side. Everyone is jumping behind their candidate because they are a D or an R

So long as all the sheeple just settle for the candidate that 'sort of' aligns with their views, we will always have a shit two party system full of unqualified, lying assholes with no spine.

Seriously, they can both die in a fire

I think it was a draw.

I don't see there being any possiblity of having anything other than a candidate that 'sort of' aligns with everyone's views since everyone doesn't agree on everything.

There may not be a candidate that you agree with 100% but there will never be a candidate that the majority agrees with even 75% if we just settle for these losers.

If anyone thinks either of these talking heads are going to do ANYTHING productive for the next 4 years they are going to be disappointed severely.

It was a DRAW because neither one had anything to offer. It was like Pauly Shore and Dustin Diamond having an act-off
