Friending Frenzy
Oct. 29th, 2008 10:35 amI will start
I am Marilyn, I am 37 (aaaaaaaahahahah omg that never stops being funny- maybe it will when I hit 40) I live in Houston with my 14 year old deliciously dorky son, my sister, 4 cats, and a temporary rescue dog.
I have a great group of people on my f-list. They are wonderfully clever, snarky, supportive, interesting, and funny.
If you want to join in, post something about yourself in the comments, and peruse the other people here. I think my f-list is fabulous and more people should know them.
You can also post a link to this in your journal and send others here for a more lively frenzy
Also ,some questions so you can entertain me:
People that know me- What would you give me for a nickname?
Everyone else- What can you cook better than anyone else in the world?
All you ever needed to know...

Date: 2008-10-29 04:22 pm (UTC)I'm Alicia. Noncustodial parent of two and professional barista. I'm 35, slightly obsessed with yarn, and...I'm going to need more coffee before I come up with anything pithier.
I am told I make the world's best devilled eggs. I wouldn't know....I can't eat the damned things.
Nice to meet you.

Date: 2008-10-29 05:59 pm (UTC)What do I cook better than anyone else? Great question. hmmmmm....hard to say. I can put a mean meal together. Last night we had artichoke ravioli with pesto. Yumbly.
But I didn't make the ravioli - I just boiled them. But I boiled them PERFECTLY! And I did make the pesto.
I'm adding you because you made me hungry.
My sons, who are both away at college, suddenly think I'm the best cook in the world. So, I beat dorm food. That's something, I guess.

Date: 2008-10-29 06:03 pm (UTC)I went to a greek restaurant last week and ate some artichoke dish that looked like two goat penises standing up on my plate. Was quite delicious
