I swear, every site I visit has these ads telling me I am a fat bastard and they have the weight loss solution.

Starting to make me paranoid.

Holy shit! I see those damn ads everywhere I go too!!! What the hell? I would be more paranoid about that myself except my best friend who only weighs about 110-115 lbs. says that she sees the same things on alot of sites she visits online...so she's thinking it might be something more to do with when you sign up for a site and you enter your date of birth and the fact that you are female and so therefore they advertise stuff that alot of young women are interested in.....since that would be the best people for weight loss companies to market products to are women who are no longer teenagers and possibly may have gained the freshman 15 or 30 or more (much more in my case) and are still at an age where their looks are very important to them still ;) So my guess is that they market it mainly to women in their 20's and 30's :)

But I thought the same damn thing you mentioned here before my best friend says she gets the same thing almost everywhere she goes online LOL

:/ The whole media standards suck.....you know the comedienne/actress Kathy Griffin? Apparantly she had liposuction done because she was being pressured to lose weight due to the fact that apparantly at a size 4, she was a real heifer and wouldn't be able to get work at that size :[ Then when she had the lipo done, she got really sick from the complications of the procedure and she almost died from dehydration!! I read this interview thing where she talked about it a few years back, it sounded really horrible!

Well....I should add that I figure it's either that or it's just the fact that the US population as a whole has the highest percentage of people who suffer from obesity than any other country in the world.....and yet in our country, our population buys the highest percentage of weight loss products in the whole world as well. Go figure!!

If this is the case then they could just be marketing these ads to everyone in the US :P

My co-worker is married and a size 0 naturally (she has two kids even) and gets the same ads.
