Keeping the uggo

My birthday is the 24th of January and my driver's license is set to expire this year. When we got the house 2 years ago, I changed my address online, so they sent me an updated license. same photo. Same expiration date. I was dissapointed. I thought it would extend the expiration.

This is the first year I have recieved the option to renew it online or via mail. I just renewed online. I am not going down for a new photo. I am going to keep the same photo from 2005 which was oh so lovely.

This is the photo I will be carrying around until 2015.

I actually think this ugly ass photo is hilarious. It makes me laugh every time I have to take it out.

Also, when I have to show it to someone, they look on their faces is GREAT.

*laugh* I know how you feel. I went for my picture at the time thinking I looked SOOOO cute, I had my hair done all flippy...

Well...it was flippy and SHORT, so what it ended up lloking like with the wonderful DPS technology...HAIR HELMET!! NO one believes it's me when I have to show id!!

I had to go in person the last time in TX, because my middle initial did not match my Social Security card. ugh. Had to get it fixed on the social security card and retake picture. Then buy a new one here less than two years later. :(

BTW my youngest son's birthday is also the 24th!

You look about 50 years old in the picture, which is funny because usually you look younger than your age in your icons and whatnot.

My license picture I look about 16 or something, but it was taken when I was 20

I am up for renewal in August, i hope i can do it online, NOTHING, even if I was picking my nose in the picture, is worth having to actually set foot in the DMV

See me wearing glasses in the photo? I don't need them to drive. I was reading a book. They called my number. I walked up there. She said, "Do you wear glasses? "

I said, "um... yeah . . ."

She told me to look at the screen for the eye test. I took off my glasses and did the test, seeing fine.

She marked down on my drivers license that I have to wear glasses while driving.

Mine is on the 17th of this month. Mine doesn't expire till 2010 I believe... mine is just an ID card, not a driver's license. I can't drive yah know. However, will have to renew and get new one if I move to Toronto though.
