Seriously, I cannot stand stupid men sending me crap

Someone was deleted off my myspace first thing this morning after I found this little gem in my inbox

" Science has explained nothing; the more we know the more fantastic the world becomes and the profounder the surrounding darkness"

That was it. Nothing more. Just that little piece of stupidity.

Remember that character that Damon Wayans played in In Living Color that was in jail and would spit a stream of made up or incorrectly used large words in attempt to sound intelligent? Yeah, I don't need him sending me messages via social networks.

Also, that should have been a period, not a semicolon.

Stupid head

That sentence made me laugh :P

Thank you. I was trying to recall that . I have met so many Oswald's in my life. Sad

Must be one of those days. I had to delete a fucker from high school that did not seem to understand that he was a creep in high school and I wouldn't sleep with him then and I don't give a flying fuck how much money he has now..it does not make him any less creepy and im still not going to sleep with his nerdy ass. That pissed me off so bad that I just went on a deleting spree. I axed about 10 people.

I just deleted a born again far right winger off my facebook this morning. He was on there because we both worked for the same company previously, but I don't think he will be missing me any more than I will be missing him.

Usually it's the stupid bulletins that piss me off. Especially when they are posted 452389765 times in a row!

If you're referring to the quote, the semicolon is appropriate since your friend meant for his second sentence to build upon the first one.

If you were instead to say that there needs to be a comma after "know," I would agree with your wholeheartedly. Actually, the second sentence is a grammatical nightmare, but it seems he at least understood the proper use of a semicolon.

All that aside, who the hell uses "profounder?"

I read this trainwreck and it came to a screeching halt for me when I got to "profounder"

I too wondered who would use 'profounder' ... I actually had to verify that it was in fact a valid word... sadly it is.

It should have read: more profound, but generally speaking people that post this sort of sentence fragment randomly on people's social networking sites often do not have a full command of grammar.

I also looked it up and saw that it was a word. doesn't make it sound less stupid.

That was me above, btw... posted as anonymous despite being logged in.

And don't you mean 'less stupider'

lol. Sorry. That is exactly what I meant.
