We have a lot of productive plants in the yard. I feel like after two years, I am always finding something new.

For instance, I do not recall seeing this plant (which I thought was a ginger plant, but apparently is not) with flowers before.



Now there are a ton of flowers about to open.



These grapes growing on a vine on our pergola look yummy, but we will never get any. The squirrels and birds will eat them before we get a chance. We look out the window and see the juice squirting across the patio when a bird is squeezing them with their beak.

deer food? We have deer on the outskirts of Houston, but nowhere near me, unless they have started climbing out of the bayou.

I have deer, my property borders Green Space. You can't build on it. And thus...deer.

deer eat orchids or orchid trees. Orchids don't grow on trees. They are awfully pretty though.
