Happy Birthday Connor

15 years ago today (tonight actually) an amazing boy was born weighing 11 lbs, 3 oz and 24 inches long. He was beautiful and strong and such a sweet baby.

It is like the universe knew what I needed and what I could take and generously gave me Connor. I am so very grateful to have such a wonderful, kind, generous, talented, witty, thoughtful, funny, smart, and awesome person for a son. I am incredibly fortunate.

14 lbs at 2 weeks. 20 lbs at 1 month. He finally slowed down around 5th grade, but it is starting back up again.

Oh!!! So adorable!!! Holy woah, 11 lbs and 3 oz?!!! Was labor difficult and last a long time? My little Zach was just 6 lbs 18 inches long and I had a c-section (I didn't have a choice in the matter, the moronic hospital staff thought I was overdue when in fact they took him a month early...they were very wrong on how far along I was and couldn't figure out why he was still breech *doh* so he was just tiny when he was born)

Connor was such a CUTE little baby though!!! Precious!!! And look at your red hair! Quite a contrast from the dark hair, looks good on you too though, your skin looks lovely like porcelain and I love that picture how you are gazing at him <3

labor was 18 hours that ended in cesarean. I only dilated 1/2 cm. I was asking for the cesarean about 8 hours in. *I* knew he wasn't coming out, but the medical team took some convincing.

the first 8 hours hurt like a bitch because it was induced and WHAM! straight into full on labor immediately. The doctor yelled at me and basically told me to stop being a big baby (not in those words) so I shut the hell up for the remaining 10. Being reeeaaallly high helped.

I so don't like the red hair. lol. but thanks.
